Dog's of Charm City, a children's book

I'm thrilled to share the exciting news that I am embarking on the journey of bringing a children's book to life.

My dream of publishing a book traces back to my childhood, where my love for animals and art seamlessly intertwined. As a young girl, my constant companions were two beanie baby cats named Amber 1 and Amber 2, the latter being a replacement for the former whose eye was inadvertently chewed off by my dog. Despite the missing eye, I cherished both of them dearly. Another regular in my entourage was Funny Bird, affectionately known by its tag name "Beak." My passion for animals extended beyond collecting; I found joy in illustrating my beanie babies and crafting stories about animals embarking on adventures together. One such tale, titled "Blue Sky," holds a special place in my heart, and I aspire to share it with the world in the future.

For now, my focus is on celebrating the city that has been my home for the past six years – Baltimore. Inspired by its vibrant and quirky culture, I am delighted to showcase the charm of this city through illustrations featuring beloved canine companions engaged in quintessential Baltimore activities. I look forward to weaving together a tale that pays homage to the incredible dogs I've encountered, petted, and passed by on the charming streets of Baltimore.

Below is a sketch of the front cover. I will regularly post updates along this journey.

Additionally, I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with Dogs of Charm City, a prominent dog walking business in Baltimore. A generous portion of the book's sales will support the invaluable work of the SPCA and BARCS, organizations dedicated to the welfare of animals in need.
