Dog's of Charm City, a children's book

I'm thrilled to share the exciting news that I am embarking on the journey of bringing a children's book to life.

I’ve dreamed of being an author since I was a child. As a young girl, my constant companions were two orange beanie baby cats named Amber 1 and Amber 2. Another beanie baby I carried around was Funny Bird, a kiwi bird otherwise known by its tag name "Beak." My passion for animals extended beyond my beanie babies; I found joy in illustrating animals and writing stories about their adventures together. One story I wrote as a child, titled "Blue Sky," holds a special place in my heart, and I aspire to share it with the world in the future.

For now, my focus is on celebrating the city that has been my home for the past six years, Baltimore! Inspired by its quirky and charming culture, I am delighted to illustrate the charm of this city while featuring local dogs. I look forward to telling a tale of these local dogs meeting each other in my favorite spots in Baltimore City.

Below is a sketch of the front cover. I will regularly post updates along this journey.

Additionally, I am thrilled to announce my collaboration with Dogs of Charm City, a prominent dog walking business in Baltimore. A portion of the book's sales will support the SPCA and BARCS, organizations dedicated to the welfare of animals in need.
